Neutrogena Baby Suncare Lotion
![]() It's getting HOT and the sun is shining like crazy here in Maryland these days...ok, except for today where it's overcast and it rained during the night. Gone are the days of laying outside for hours trying to perfect that golden tan, let alone letting your little ones play outside with absolutely nothing to protect them from the sun but their older sibling staring them down. I was recently sent a sample of Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Lotion with SPF 60+ with PureScreen to try since I'm a BzzAgent. Since we had the Disney trip coming up, I figured it would be the perfect time to really try out the product and let you know what I think. How does it measure up based on their claims? Let's find out. Claim 1: Fragrance Free Yes, I have to say this product is fragrance free. Neither myself nor my kids noticed any odors with this sunscreen. Claim 2: Oil free Again, no oily build up after I applied this lotion to the kids. Mini Me and Little Man didn't leave an oil spill-like trail in the pool either, which leads us to claim #3: Claim 3: Waterproof Absolutely. The lotion stayed on through many trips in and out of the pool for the kids. (Many, many trips in and out of the pool.) Claim 4: Hypoallergenic Not sure if this is part of the "hypoallergenic" category, but compared to the spray lotions I've tried on the kids, the kids requested the Neutrogena sunscreen because it didn't sting their eyes during application. Claim 5: Rubs in on skin with no white mess and spreads easily, unlike many other physical sunblocks Here's where I have a bit of a problem. I couldn't get the lotion to ever completely rub in, which left my kids even whiter than they usually are. It could be due to the zinc oxide used in the lotion (remember those white noses on lifeguards? That white stuff was zinc oxide). The good news is that I could always tell what parts of the kids I hadn't gotten to. The lotion also comes in a stick form and retails between $9 and $11. So there you have it. I feel that the Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock Lotion with SPF 60+ with PureScreen suncreen meets 4 out of 5 of its claims. Would I use it again? Sure! Recommend it to friends? Yep. **If you'd like to try products and give reviews, consider becoming a BzzAgent. Membership is free.** Comments: I am also a bzz agent and didn't get picked to try this trail, I wish I had. my daughter has VERY sensitive skin. Google: baby lotion Neutrogena Baby Suncare Lotion |
